Concerns and Complaints
Raising Concerns & Complaints – Working Together for Positive Outcomes
At Tamaoho School, we value open communication and are committed to ensuring all concerns and complaints are addressed promptly and fairly. We understand that sometimes whaanau may have questions or worries, and we encourage you to reach out so we can work together to find solutions.
What’s the Difference Between a Concern and a Complaint?
A concern is an issue that can usually be resolved informally by speaking directly with the whaanau teacher or staff member involved.
A complaint is a more serious or ongoing issue that may require a formal process to resolve.
Our Commitment to Resolving Concerns
We take all concerns seriously and will do our best to resolve them within 48 hours. If you have a concern about your child’s well-being, social interactions, or academic progress, please email their whaanau teacher in the first instance.
For more information on how concerns and complaints are handled, please see this flowchart.
Your voice is important to us, and we will always listen. Together, we can ensure the best outcomes for our learners.
